Language acquisition in theory and practice

• different levels
• a total of 90 lessons (5 per day)
• small groups
• grammar, language training, culture and society
• visits to manufacturing and service companies
• lectures on current topics taken from politics, business, ecology etc.

• acquisition of 5 ECTS-credit points possible according to the regulations of the respective degree programme

The course is mainly aimed at students / visiting students of FH Osnabrück. Apart from that, the course is open for

• Everybody, who wants to improve his/her German language skills and is interested in social, cultural and economic matters in the Germany of today
• Employees in related occupations
• Everybody, who wants to improve his/her knowledge of terminology for business or engineering purposes
• Students or graduates of all subject areas, especially of economics or engineering courses

• in the 'International Guest House' of FH Osnabrück

• Arrival: Tuesday, February 1st
• Beginning of classes: Wednesday, February 2nd, in the morning

• Trip to Berlin: February 26th - 28th

Course fee:

420.00 €

300.00 € for (guest)-students of FH Osnabrück

This fee includes:

• tuition and teaching materials
• company visits and lectures
• all free time activities within the programme
• day trips, e.g. carnival in Cologne
• 3-day trip to Berlin (including trip by bus, accomodation, breakfast, dinner, city tour)

This fee does not include:

• travel costs
• expenses for accommodation (between € 180.00 and 230.00)
• meals (lunch available in the refectory, approx. € 3.00 per person
